WHO IS THAT MASKED WOMAN?

DESPERATE TIMES
CALL FOR
DESPERATE MEASURES
Alex is finally on the mend...she still has a lingering cough but the fever is gone. Today the doctor was surprised her lungs sounded clear with how 'heavy' her cough can be. The doctor said Alex probably had RSV but wasn't going to test since she wouldn't suggest doing anything differently. Doc thought probably another 4-6 weeks before Alex starts to feel all better. She is still really tired.
Riggs is a complete and utter mess! He has had a low grade fever for several days along with a runny nose and cough. Yesterday started the crying and whimpering and just laying flat on the floor. The saddest thing to watch! Today I found out he has a bad ear infection on the right side and a worse infection on the left along with some good old fashion bronchitis. Since he has a runny nose, I was told he is contagious at this point. Just keep washing hands....blah, blah, blah...we all know the routine.
BUT, I HAVE SURGERY NEXT MONDAY!!!
I CAN NOT GET SICK. CAN NOT GET SICK!
The doctor recommended wearing a surgical mask to keep some of the germs at bay. Ridiculous, right?
Don't care!
Remember???
I CAN NOT GET SICK!
And, Brooklyn is sick too. She came home from school with those 'glassy eyes'. Now she has a fever and is coughing like the other two.
FANTASTIC!?!?!?!
DOES ANYONE HAVE A BUBBLE
I CAN LIVE IN FOR THE NEXT WEEK?

EXACTLY, BROOKLYN!

I overhead this conversation between
Scott and Brooklyn this morning:
Scott: "Brooklyn, did you look outside yet?"
Brooklyn (in a very loud, distraught voice):
"REALLY???
Really, Daddy???
Why did it have to snow AGAIN????"

LONG AWAITED ICE CREAM PARTY

When Lauren found out she had to have surgery on her ear AGAIN....she was not very excited about it, to say the least! So, I asked if we could take her for ice cream. Due to my lack of brain power, it didn't happen until yesterday after school. Sorry Lauren!
The ice cream party in honor of Lauren's ear!!!
There was ice cream (of course) and then all kinds of toppings. I just let the girls load up their bowl with whatever they wanted and as much as they wanted. I did warn Becky that they might not eat dinner and would probably have sick stomachs when they got home.
Brooklyn was the only one that finished her whole bowl!
An ability she got from her dad....what a proud papa! :)

I WANNA DANCE

Brooklyn and Alex participated in the High School Dance Team's End of Year Program. The day before, the girls spent 45 minutes learning their different dances from members of the dance team. Each grade had a different dance. It was pretty entertaining to watching a gym full of girls practicing routines to different music. My girls had a blast.
And, they did a great job!

MORE SNOW...MAKE LEMONADE

After everything melted, we got a little more snow....just for the fun of it?!?!?
The girls wanted to go out and play so Scott gave them brooms to sweep the sidewalk and driveway too. They made it into quite the game.
