Returning from my very last pre-natal appointment. Yeah!!! Friday was the day that I was to be induced. But, after my ultrasound today....the doctor is recommending a c-section. The ultrasound shows this baby's size as "off the chart". Lynne, the tech, was unable to give an "exact size" because it only showed 9lbs 14oz. But, she says the baby is bigger than that...how much bigger....??????....the ultrasound is unable to detect.
So, now I am scheduled for a c-section on Friday at 10am. I'm slightly freaked out about this but after talking to Scott....the possible risk to the baby isn't worth trying to do this on my own.
I head to the hospital on Wednesday to go through a pre-surgical screening and to have lab work done. Then Friday...I am to be at the hospital at 8am in preparations for the 10am c-section.
The end is still the same day....just a slight variation on the expectation.
This kid has given me all kinds of new experiences. Lucky me????

ReplyDeleteOh wow. They kinda threw you for a loop there, huh? That is tough. But YAY that you are having the baby on FRIDAY!!! Will be sending lots of prayers up for a safe delivery, healthy baby and mommy. HUGS!!!
