NO PHOTOS....

DOES NOT MEAN IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!

Contrary to my husband's harassment...we had a great weekend!

There are just no pictures to prove it.

He is now convinced that if there is not photographic evidence on this blog...it didn't happen.

BUT...IT DID HAPPEN!

Friday night we had friends over for an early 4th of July BBQ. The kids were up WAY past their bedtimes but no meltdowns. Amazing! We ended the night with a fire and smores. So fun.

Saturday we spent most of the afternoon at the pool. The girls and Scott stayed in the water like the fish they are while Riggs and I took a little nap under the umbrella.

And, then we played outside at home on the "jumpoline" and playset.

Sunday the girls played with Grandma and Grandpa Yoder while Scott, Riggs and myself went to church. Mike gave the message.

Very interesting.

He talked about how easy it is to skip over the "lists of names" in the Bible.

You know the lists.

The ones like Luke 3: 23-37:

He (Jesus) was the son, so it was thought, of Joseph, the son of Heli, the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melki, the son of Jannai....

I will come back to this.

It needs more time and explanation.

It rained the rest of the day. We decided to call a family movie night. So, the girls picked all the required "snacks" for dinner and we watched Shrek (1st time for the girls). It was a great excuse for getting snuggles with Brooklyn and Alex.

Riggs wasn't interested in the movie and opted for another nap instead.

It was a fantastic weekend...pictures or not!
