FRIDAY, FREEZING, FUN

Friday we woke up to FREEZING temps! Who am I kidding....we went to bed with freezing temps. But, it was 19...BELOW ZERO in the morning!!! Yes, people. This is where I live.

Alex, Riggs and I had plans to visit the Phelps Youth Pavilion with friends. As tempting as staying inside with hot chocolate and a blanket sounded...we headed out into the cold.

So glad we did...what a blast!!!

there was all kinds of activities...

dress up...

'dirt' to dig in

holes to pop up through

or to go down...depending what level you wanted to play

"The Production" put on by the GC Kids

followed by a puppet show

Then a stop at McDonald's

Alex had to sit with the moms, Riggs was out and Becky was very displeased with my taking a picture.

(hey, at least I didn't zoom in. ha)
