My birthday is not until Tuesday but we celebrated today since there is more time on the weekend.
We just got done eating a VERY yummy meal. Scott surprised me by bringing home everything to make my birthday dinner. What a wonderful husband I have! With only a little assistance for timing, a minor fire in a pan which Scott put out by throwing a steak on it, almost getting smoked out of the kitchen and an open window letting more cold air in than smoke out and after lots of laughter....dinner was served, courtesy of Scott!
Steak, potatoes, asparagus, artichoke, sauteed mushrooms with an appetizer of shrimp with cocktail sauce...all of it was absolutely delicious!
After dinner, it was cake time. Brooklyn and Alex helped Scott make my official Angel Food birthday cake and the girls frosted it by themselves. Beautifully done, girls!
How lucky can one girl be????
