To many of you, these 7 words probably don't mean much...but to me, it was the best thing I have heard so far today!
I had my 29th week doctor's appointment this morning. I figured my blood pressure would be 200/150 by the time I got there. Let me tell you...Hwy 14 and 20 were super scary! I was driving maybe 10 mph at some points because there was so much blowing snow that I could not see anything in front of me. Plus trying to dodge the drifting snow and worrying about on-coming traffic in my lane avoiding their own drifts...it was not the nice peaceful drive I was hoping for. Why do we live here???? Arizona sounds pretty good right about now.
Anyway, back to my doctor's appointment. I drank my "glucose test juice" like a good girl, got the buddha measured...still larger than I should be (not that anyone would be surprised by that) AND...then she said it!!! "We will see you in two weeks". I couldn't believe it! I am down from every 4 weeks to every 2 weeks. Do you understand what this means? It means this will eventually come to an end. Everyone keeps telling me..."hang in there, not much longer" and I have not believed. And, now I need to apologize to all of you that I have called a liar behind your back (or maybe to your face...depending on the day :)
So, thanks to all of you that keep cheering me on. I am truly grateful for all the help and support.
As a side note: my ultrasound got pushed till February 8th when I go back in TWO weeks. I was not on the schedule today and it was way too busy to fit me in. So, only two more weeks of speculation regarding the possibility of twins. Enjoy it while you can, people!
And, my blood pressure was only 116/62...at least until I started thinking about the possibility of twins. Yikes!
After this pregnancy, twins would be a breeze in comparison. And if you have twins, I'll come live with you for awhile! ;)
